PUPPIES, PARTNERS, AND PALS
What better combination than a boy and a dog? Thanks to our partnership with Blue Mountain Humane Society and P.A.W.S., Danner Farms' boys help socialize and train rescued and abandoned dogs. Helping these furry friends find their forever homes is a benefit to all creatures, great and small.
COMMUNITY
Learning to serve through volunteering. A few examples of Community Service the boys have done are placing flags on the graves of veterans at the Milton-Freewater Cemetery, helping at the Special Olympics Eastern Oregon Regional Track Meet, assisting with the American Legion Classic Golf Tournament, and assisting the elderly with yard work.
RESTORE OUTBUILDINGS
Danner Farms is the site of what was once the historic Nichols Farm.  The dog kennel can comfortably house up to four rescue dogs. The Workshop/Man Cave is up and running! Boys have had the chance to learn from local volunteer carpenters and plumbers as they've help restore these wonderful old buildings for use by all Danner Farms' participants.
GARDENING
Grow vegetables and fruit for the boys to eat, learn to cook with, and possibly sell at the local Farmer's Market.
Danner Farms has other projects in the planning stages. Contact us to learn more.
